CompletedA 59.6 km high-speed line through the Swabian Jura, connecting the Stuttgart region with Ulm. Its centrepiece is the Albaufstieg with the Boßlertunnel (8.8 km), the Filstalbrücke viaduct (485 m, 85 m high), and the Steinbühltunnel (4.8 km). Opened in December 2022, it cuts the Stuttgart–Ulm travel time from 54 to 28 minutes.
